Rosh Hashanah 2022 began on the evening of Sunday, September 25, and ends on the evening of Tuesday, September 27. The Jewish New Year festival is held on Tishri’s first (and sometimes the second) day(in September). It is marked by the blowing of the shofar and begins the ten days of penitence culminating in Yom Kippur.
